Mushrooms in the storm

The storm came quickly and unexpectedly. Although anxiety mushrooms pride themselves on their ability to predict future disasters, they did not foresee this one. Strangely, when the storm actually hit, they stopped their usual squabbling and stayed huddled tightly together.

I made this piece after having a fight with my husband, the kind of fight that you totally did not see coming. For a strange moment, all my inner parts united to deal with the fight. This print is a sketch of the situation at the time =)
