On this other island grows giant spiny harsh thoughts that are rooted deeply into the soil and they are not afraid to brandish their thorns. None of the anxiety mushrooms dare speak a word to them.
 
Artist's comment
 
I wanted to make something that looks and feels spikey. I think in life we're taught to be balanced, to be rounded, to be polished, to be nice. But there's something about those judgmental thoughts, sharp comments that you have for yourself and others. What if they are just these other forms of creatures on your land, like joshua trees? It wouldn't be as beautiful if you have them all cut down would it?

Works must be returned in their original condition and packaging. If your print arrives damaged in transit, I'll issue a full refund — just send me a photo of the damage within 7 days of receiving it.
